Hello!

I believe it has been about 2 weeks since I've updated my blog. I got to addmit that college orientation did not allow us the time to focus on anything else except getting set for college... For those who have been checking this page often, I apologize for the break.

The picture is from the drive in I went with TJ and Gail before I left for college. We saw the last Borne movie and another one which I can't remember the title. This was my first time going to the drive in and I had more fun that I imagined!! It was AWESOME!!! :))

I also enjoyed the beautiful stars and the sunset.

Thank you TJ and Gail. You are my best host family EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wanted to go to the sea in Japan so bad, but it didn't happen.

My friend, Ooki, took this picture on his cellphone and sent it to me.

Goodbye Jeff

Yesterday, we had to say goodbye to Jeff.
Now, he is at the zoo for rehab because we were worried that he might not be able to go back out to the wild. He will be training to walk and fly at the there.
To the right is one of the goodbye pictures. My face = "Please don't poo on my head..." lol
He was here only few days, but there are times when I still go out on the deck, thinking "I gotta feed Jeff!", and feel a little empty when I realize his no longer there.
I can't wait to hear the news from the zoo saying that he is ready for the "real world"!

Jeff the barn swallow

Gail rescued a barn swallow that fell out of its nest.

It has been about 5 days since Gail started feeding him. My job everyday when TJ or Gail is not home is to feed him warms every hour and check if he has to poop. :)

I have never held a bird or had a bird as a pet before, so I was nervous at first, but I'm enjoying it now.

Jet Lag

I was so tired, I could hardly smile.

This was after we all got back from Church, and TJ & Gail went shopping while I took a nap on the couch.They were so kind that they decided to, FIRST take a picture, then wake me up in a loving way ( I'll just leave it at that... lol ), so that I could sleep that night...
