Greetings to everyone!! It's Tuesday and it's a very nice day over here in Japan.

After I scheduled my bus to get to VA in August, I went for a short walk with my dad. It was sunny, but the wind was blowing from the north today, so it was a perfect day for a walk!! Then I spent some time with my brother in our back yard catching insects. Once my brother, Carl got tired of catching insects, we caught a bull frog baby to play with for a little bit. The pics are from that. From the left, that's how it looks from the top, them the middle is the nabor's kid trying to hold on to the frog(poor frog...he looks like a stick...), and the right is the frog's stomach.lol

We let him go soon, of course.

Hello, again!

After the video shop. We stopped by at the Harley shop!!!!!! Above are some of the choices you have TJ. I can't remember the name of them, though... ;( My dad got to sit on some of the bikes which totally made his day!! lol Usually they don't allow customers to touch the bikes, but the love my dad has for those sweet rides made it possible ;)

My dad says, "Some day..." :)

Well, after we had desert, we stoped by at a video-rent shop. And to the left is what I found on one of the top popular movie ranking shelf.

Hello.

We went out to have some desert with the whole family on Monday.

My dad got a siphon cake, vanilla ice cream, and a cup of coffee. Carl and Tamachi got an Asian desert that has mochi(rice cake-ish thing) and sweetened azuki beans(a type of red beans). My mom got something similar to what Carl and Tamchi got, but with green tea ice cream and sesame bean ice cream added to that. I got an Asian style Mango Sandy which includes shrimp flavored chips, sesame bean ice cream, vanilla ice cream, granola, coconut cream, and mango syrup. It was much bigger than I thought it would be.

We all enjoyed our deserts, and left the place to have some more fun. That's for another story. though :)

Hello! Is everybody enjoying the summer??

Summer = Watermelon to me!! And, one of our dance team members brought some for us to share yesterday!! It was sooooo good!!!!!!! It's the best when you eat it after exercising with your friends or working out door with your family.

Spiderman!!!!

For privacy reasons, I wasn't able to share this with you all till now, but our dance team leader is THE Spiderman!! We call him "Eiheiji-man", so that people won't notice him in public.

He never shows his face even within the closest circle in the team. Even though he sweats like crazy, he comes with full covered outfit. LOL

I was given the privilege of helping him to catch up with the final version of our dance!!!!!!!!

Happy Birthday!

Greetings to everyone.
Today, July 23, was my sister, Tamachi's birthday. Somehow my parents thought it will be better to do all 3 birthdays, my brother's, my sister's, and mine, all at once. So, we made 2 cakes and decorated them together. For the candles, we added our ages we will turn on our birthdays (sister [9] + brother [12] + me [19] = candles [40]), divided that in two, and put 20 candles on each cake. lol

We all enjoyed eating together with our parents and there are only 4 pieces left... Since I didn't have my own cake, I had the privilege to eat up all the whipped cream left while my brother and sister decorated their cakes. lol

I really didn't make a wish when the candles were blown out, but I hope for another year full of ups, downs, excitements, struggles, and learning a little more about things that cannot be seen.

Greetings to everyone :)

We had a Typhoon and several earthquakes in Japan, but the little town I live is as peaceful as it can be. I'm always shocked when I hear about all the bad news about the damage in other places, though.
I've started to get ready for my University life; choosing courses, contacting people, looking over orientation schedule, planning financial needs, and so on... I'm also exchanging e-mails with my future roommate!! She sounds so sweet and excited about her life ahead!! :) I can't wait to meet her in August!!!!! lol

Surprise....

Hello!

A report from the kitchen. My mom broke the faucet, so we had it repaired. And "Surprise!!" Above is what's left. A big whole with rotten wood showing. Our house is very old, and it's starting to fall apart... lol

The new faucet works great and we also got a water filter!! The water here is still clean and you can drink right out of the faucet, but we thought we would give it a try :)

These are some friends from the Japanese traditional dance group, "Ichibanboshi (The 1st star)". This is where I actually started dancing. We usually stay and chat for a while after practise is over every night. They are great people.

This is just between all of us, but since I wasn't able to do it mathematically, I just memorized all the rules and ways of doing it...lol

Hello, everybody. How are you? Doing well, I hope.
Today, my mom is excited b/c she gets to hang laundry outside for the first time in a week. lol It's in the middle of the rainy season here, so sunny days are exciting to all of us!!My bro was chasing around those poor bullfrog babies, and was stuffing them in a cage...lol I was teaching my sister how to do RubicCube, and played cards with her afterwards. Now they are both at Swimming school, and I have been enjoying my afternoon reading.
Except of the fact that my sister disappeared this morning around 8 O'clock and was no where to be found for about an hour, everything seems more peaceful than usual :)

Lord, thank you for the sun, today!! :)

This week

Hello. How was your week?

My family over all had a rough week. It has been raining all week, and the air around us seemed a bit heavier than usual. My bro + sis were mad about their soaked shoes + broken umbrellas, my parents hardly got sleep, I had to prepare for + take a math placement test, and Lucy, our pet, didn't get much attention.
But, my mom baked some cookies which were almost gone by the next night, and we were all in bed by 10pm on Friday. So, today, the air around us seems a bit lighter :) AND, it's sunny!!!!!!

Family in japan!

Hello.

Ever since I've been back in Japan, spending time with my family has become my main plan for everyday. Especially, the time with my 2 little ones are something very important to me.

On the left is my brother(11) working on his caricature. The only way I can discribe his talent and beauty in his drawings and paintings is, "That's a gift." :)

On the top is a cute little devil. ...No, it's actually my sister(8). She is a happy little girl with bottomless energy. lol What she has in her hands are a cucumber my grandma raised in the yard, sliced in half. It made a spiral-like shape, and we were playing with it togather :)

Hello, and many other greetings to everyone. :)

I'm in Japan, enjoying my summer vacation with my family and friends. I'm constantly moving, and, as much as I would like to share many things with my dear ones, my school work does not allow me the time to keep everybody updated.
So, by having this blog available, I hope I will be able to share what is happening in my life and in the life of others around me. I'm also planning on making this page a place for pics, so I hope you will enjoy them, too :)
